When Terry Phillips bought Mid-State Awning back in April of 1987, little did he realize that his company would grow from two employees to nine full-time employees operating out of a 7200 square foot shop.
Despite the growth in size and reputation—with work for national chains such as McDonald's, Subway, Blockbuster, Bruster's Real Ice Cream, Days Inn and Ethan Allen—Mid-State remains a locally-owned and operated business dedicated to quality local service.
Unlike many awning companies, Mid-State keeps a majority of their work in shop. With a staff of experienced sewers and state-of-the-art heat sealing capabilities,
Mid-State saves you time and money by fabricating your canvas or vinyl project in-house. Over 350 canvas jobs run through Mid-State's shop each year and all non-retractable awning frames also are fabricated in-house.
